FLAT TIN ROOFS/ CORRUGATED AND IBR SHEETS

This area is a massive problem in the industry if not designed correctly and installed professionally by the builder. Often this roof is installed incorrectly by design and therefore leaks and often has rust damaging the material as the water collects on the tin sheets causing rust, resulting in a leaking roof.

There are two ways in repairing / waterproofing the above either:

1. By a cost effective quick fix system by painting on a waterproofing product with a short result as the material is not a long-term solution.
2. A boarding system that has a long term positive effect, which we would recommend.

A boarding system is a product where Masonite boards are fitted to the top off the roof by self-tapping screws and a torch on waterproofing system is applied to the top of the Masonite board. This is a SA waterproofing designed system.
